Coaching points

  • Use the soles, insides, and outsides of both feet
  • Keep the ball close — small touches
  • Head up between touches

Variations

  • Beginner Toe taps on top of the ball — 30 seconds, rest, repeat 3x.
  • Intermediate Foundations (side-to-side inside touches) for 30 seconds x 3.
  • Advanced Foundations as fast as you can for 45 seconds, counting your touches.

  • Quality first, then speed
  • Both feet equally
  • Stay on the balls of your feet

Variations

  • Beginner Inside-inside touches across a 2-yard area, back and forth.
  • Intermediate Sole rolls + inside touch combo, 1 minute x 3.
  • Advanced V-pulls (pull back + push out) for 1 minute x 3, both feet.

  • Eyes up to scan
  • Sharp, deliberate movements

Variations

  • Beginner Combine sole rolls, V-pulls, and foundations for 5 minutes.
  • Intermediate Add a change of direction every 5 touches at high speed.
  • Advanced 2-minute non-stop circuit mixing 4 moves, scanning every rep.
