Questions

Frequently asked questions

What age groups does QC Elite offer?

QC Elite offers programs for players from U8 through high school. We have recreation, development academy, and travel/competitive options so there’s a fit for every age and skill level. See our Programs page for details.

How do we register?

Registration is handled securely through GotSport, our trusted third-party registration platform. When registration is open, you’ll find a link on our Registration page. If a program isn’t open yet, you can join the interest list and we’ll notify you as soon as it is.

How much does it cost to play?

Costs vary by program and season. We work hard to keep grassroots soccer affordable and accessible. Specific pricing is confirmed and posted before each registration period on the relevant program page. If cost is a barrier for your family, please reach out — we want to help.

What equipment does my child need?

To get started, players need cleats, shin guards, a size-appropriate ball, and a water bottle. Uniform details are shared after registration. See our Parent Resources page for a full equipment checklist.

What happens in bad weather?

Player safety comes first. Practices and games may be modified, moved indoors, or canceled in the event of lightning, severe weather, or unsafe field conditions. Decisions are communicated through our team communication channels as early as possible. See the full weather policy on our Parent Resources page.

How does QC Elite keep players safe?

Player safety and well-being are our top priorities. Our coaches follow background-check and SafeSport-aligned best practices, and we maintain clear codes of conduct for players, parents, and coaches. We also follow careful photo and privacy practices to protect minors. Learn more on our Parent Resources page.

My child has never played before — is that okay?

Absolutely! Many of our players start with little or no experience. Our recreation program and community clinics are designed as a welcoming first step where new players build skills and confidence at their own pace. Everyone is welcome at QC Elite.

Player development philosophy

We believe young players develop best in an environment that is challenging, supportive, and fun. Our coaching prioritizes individual skill, decision-making, and confidence over short-term results. We meet each player where they are and help them take the next step.

Long-term growth means valuing effort and learning, encouraging players to try, fail, and improve, and keeping the love of the game at the center of everything we do.
